Two Brothers. One Higher Standard.

KJ Kelly is one of the two brothers behind Standard Black Rentals.

Having experienced gig work firsthand, KJ understands the challenges that can come with working independently and relying on driving as a source of income.

That experience helped shape the vision behind Standard Black Rentals: a company where drivers can ask questions, understand rental requirements, and know what to expect before making a commitment.

Together with his brother, KJ is focused on building a business centered on transparency, accountability, and genuine understanding.

Kody Kelley shares the same firsthand understanding of the gig economy that inspired Standard Black Rentals.

After experiencing the demands and uncertainties of gig work, Kody and his brother recognized an opportunity to help other drivers navigate their transportation needs.

Their approach goes beyond providing rental vehicles. It's about creating a straightforward experience, communicating expectations clearly, and developing relationships with customers who choose to stay with Standard Black Rentals.

For Kody and KJ, the goal is to build lasting customer relationships, not simply complete one-time transactions.
